Esthetic Crown Lengthening
Although your teeth appear short, they may actually be the proper length. The teeth may be covered with too much gum tissue. A procedure can be done to uncover your natural teeth allowing them to have a more natural and pleasing proportion with your smile.
Soft Tissue Grafting
If you have exposed roots causing sensitivity, are at risk of cavities on your roots or are unhappy with the esthetics of your smile, soft tissue grafting procedures are available. During this process a thin piece of tissue is taken from behind your last molar or from the roof of the mouth and is gently moved to adjacent areas to provide a stable band of gingiva around the tooth covering the root of the tooth in the process. Soft tissue grafting procedures are highly predictable and results in a stable, healthy band of attached tissue around the tooth.
Frenectomy
In some cases muscles that attach on to your gum tissue can contribute to receding gums and exposed roots. Sometimes these muscles can be removed by a simple procedure to prevent the start of any recession or prevent any further recession from occurring.
